For some reason a lot of drivers are taking to Main Street westbound today. The result is a slow-moving backup of traffic from downtown to I-5.
The usual causes have been checked.
- Slater Road is not closed
- Grandview Road is not closed
- Portal Way access is open.
There was a minor accident at the intersection by Samuel’s Furniture but that happened after traffic started building up.
So what is causing people to jump on Main Street today? Is it just a Friday anomaly?
