Whatcom County Public Works officials announced about 11:30am today that ferry service between Lummi Island and Gooseberry Point had been suspended due to high winds.
No estimate for resuming service has been provided.
Gusts up to 66mph have been reported near the Gooseberry Point ferry terminal today.

Ferry service has been resumed.
