Drivers looking to get between Slater Road and Smith Road via LaBounty Drive next week will need to find an alternate route.
According to an announcement today from the City of Ferndale, LaBounty Drive will be closed to through traffic from 7:30am to 5pm between Sunset Avenue and Seahawk Drive from Monday, September 12th to Friday, September 16th.
Flaggers will be on site to help neighbors in the closure area get in and out.
The closure is needed to allow a private contractor to perform work connecting the apartments under construction to utility services.
