Ferndale schools, city and federal offices, including the post office, and the public library will be closed in observance of Labor Day this Monday, September 7th. Banks and credit unions will also be closed.
All Sanitary Service Company (SSC) routes will be on regular schedule. According to a company announcement,
[SSC] Customers whose regular collection day is Monday should set out containers the night before for pick-up. Collection times on holidays can be earlier than normal due to lighter traffic on area roads.
