LYNDEN, Wash. — First responders were dispatched about 7:50am to the Guide Meridian (SR539) south of the Pole Road (SR544) roundabout due to reports of a jackknifed semi-truck blocking all southbound lanes.
There were no immediate reports of injuries as a result of the incident.
Motorists are advised to avoid the southbound lanes through the area.
As of 8am, traffic was squeezing past on the left shoulder.
As of 8:10am, the semi was moved off to the side of the road. Both lanes were reopened.
