MAPLE FALLS, Wash. — First responders were dispatched to the area of the Kendall Road S-curves at Mosey Court about 4:55pm on Thursday, August 31st, due to reports of a single-vehicle crash. They had responded to the same location the evening prior due to a fatality crash.
Whatcom County Fire District 14 Assistant Fire Chief David Moe told Whatcom News a southbound vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and crashed into 2 traffic signs that had been replaced that morning after being destroyed in the earlier crash.
Moe said the sole occupant of the vehicle was transported to PeaceHealth St Joseph’s Medical Center by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.
