Tomorrow, Saturday, January 2nd, five teams of FHS Golden Eagle alumni will hit the courts at the FHS and Vista Middle School gyms Saturday for the first ever Alumni Basketball Tournament.
According to organizer Jason Owens, who is also the FHS boys basketball coach, this should be a good opportunity to see some great basketball and have a lot of fun. Some notable players according to Owens include John Shaw, Chad Hunt, Daniel Canzater, Jake Schroeder, Scott Locker and Jake Locker.
Admission is free and each team is going to play at least two games in the round robin tournament.
Games will begin at 11am, 12:15pm, 1:30pm and 3pm. The championship game will be at 4:30pm in the FHS gym.
