FERNDALE, Wash. — Ferndale Public Works personnel were reportedly on onsite locating an errant water source on Hovander Road between Scout Place and W Smith Road. As a result, that section of road is temporarily closed according to an announcement from the city today, Wednesday, July 27th.
City Spokesperson Riley Sweeney said that it was not known whether the break was related to an incident over the weekend where a semi-truck and trailer rolled off the west side of the road.
A water main runs along the east side of the road.
No estimate for reopening the road was available.
