Whatcom County Public Works said this afternoon the emergency repairs scheduled for this evening have been rescheduled to Saturday evening due to expected winds that can create high seas.

National Weather Service Seattle office issued a wind advisory forewarning of sustained south winds of 30mph with gusts between 45 and 50mph. The advisory will remain in effect until 6am tomorrow morning, Friday.

The emergency repairs are scheduled to begin Saturday after the last scheduled run has completed. Service is expected to resume with the normal scheduled runs Sunday morning.
