WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — Forecasters with the Seattle office of the National Weather Service issued a high wind watch today, Tuesday, December 24th, due to powerful winds expected this Wednesday into Thursday.
According to today’s statement, sustained southeasterly winds of 25 to 40mph with gusts to 55mph are possible from Wednesday afternoon to Thursday afternoon.
The watch applies to western Whatcom and Skagit Counties, the Admiralty Inlet area and San Juan County.
