WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — Forecasters with the Seattle office of the National Weather Service have extended the heat advisory issued Tuesday, July 26th. Initially said to expire on Friday, July 29th at 9pm, the advisory has been extended to Saturday at 9pm.
This morning, July 28th, forecasters said the current hot weather for the interior of western Washington will remain through Saturday. Stronger onshore flow is expected to arrive on Sunday bringing cooler temperatures across the region.
Below normal temperatures are possible late next week.
