There were reports of a helicopter heard flying around Ferndale this morning. It was a mystery for a while but then the Boys and Girls Club posted the following on Facebook and it answered the question.

The 12U Washington State Cal Ripkin Tournament began today in Ferndale, complete with helicopter flyover by Homeland Security.
