Haggen announced 12 of their grocery stores, including the Ferndale store, have voluntarily recalled some deli products that contain diced yellow onions from Taylor Farms of Salinas, CA that Haggen officials report were included in a recall due to possible salmonella contamination.
The Haggen products were sold in the deli from the full-service and/or self-service cases and packaged in clear containers.
Haggen officials say no illnesses associated with this recall have been reported to date and they are issuing this recall out of an abundance of caution.
