A milk drive to benefit the Ferndale Food Bank starts today, Friday, March 31st and continues through Sunday, April 9th.
During the milk drive, shoppers at Ferndale Grocery Outlet will be able to buy a gallon of milk for a needy family. Look for the information board with coupons at the store.
The drive is done in partnership with the Ferndale Grocery Outlet, Dairy Farmers of Washington and the Ferndale Food Bank.
The Ferndale Food Bank is hoping to collect at least 1000 gallons of milk as a result of the drive. Milk is one of the top nutritious item requested by food bank clients.
