BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Bellingham Fire Department and Bellingham Police were dispatched about 4:10pm today, June 20th, to a report a residential fire on W Bakerview Road, across from the Fred Meyer shopping center.
Fire crews arrived to find a fully involved residential structure.
Firefighters reported having knocked down the fire and working on hot spots by 5pm. There were no injuries according to the Bellingham Fire Department.
Drivers should take alternate routes while first responders are in the area. Bellingham Police have W Bakerview Road closed between Artic Avenue and Northwest Drive.
At 8:30pm, Bellingham Police announced the road had been reopen to all traffic.
