7:35am: Good morning. It’s calm around Ferndale this morning with temperatures in the upper 50s under low gray clouds. But forecasters assure us, this will turn into another nice day.
TRAFFIC
Washington Street between Vista Drive and 3rd Avenue remains closed to through traffic until at least September. The official detour route is via Vista Drive and 3rd Avenue.
The I-5 roadwork between Ferndale and Blaine is scheduled to resume Sunday night when road crews are expected to close the I-5 southbound on- and off- ramps at Portal Way.
