7:45am: Good morning. While the forecast is for cloudy skies, forecasters also say to expect a high temperature in the 80s today. Temperatures around Ferndale are already into the 60s after having climbed nearly 10° in the past 90 minutes. Saturday’s forecast calls for a high in the 70s but then we drop back to more seasonal temps beginning Sunday with a high expected in the 60s.
TRAFFIC
Roadwork is scheduled to continue until 11am this morning on northbound I-5 in spots between Portal Way and Blaine. Expect work to resume again this evening around 7pm and it will continue overnight. Traffic will be reduced to one lane through the work areas so delays can be expected.
