Ferndale Police keep track of lost and found property to enable reuniting with the rightful owners. Property not claimed can eventually end up at an online auction.
Ferndale neighbors who have lost items in the Ferndale area are advised to call or stop by the Ferndale Police Department. A database of found property can be checked to see if the lost items have been found and turned in. If not, the lost item’s information can be put on file to identify the owner if they are recovered.
FPD recently announced the following unclaimed items are in their property room.
- Backpack
- Miscellaneous Clothing
- Keys
- Cell phone
- Passport
- Tablet
- 4 bicycles
- Stroller
You are asked to call Kim at the FPD, (360) 483-5746 if you are missing any of these items.
Unclaimed items eventually are made available at auction.
Items to be made available at FPD’s online auction beginning October 3rd include a ring, glass horse carousel, drum set, Pokémon cards, solar powered lanterns and a Sportsman food cooler. Interested parties need to sign up at Govdeals.com before the auction and receive approval to be able to submit bids.
Items up for auction can be viewed online once the auction begins by searching for “Ferndale Police Department, WA” at www.govdeals.com.
