The National Weather Service has issued another Wind Advisory early this morning that will remain in effect until 4am Wednesday.
The advisory warns of another round of south winds with gusts to 50mph with the strongest occurring late this afternoon and continuing into the evening.
This morning has already been blustery with several 40mph+ gusts in the Ferndale area and at least one 50mph gust recorded shortly after 8am.
Forecasters say the front bringing these windy conditions to the area is not expected to create a repeat of Monday’s windstorm. The windiest areas are expected to be the central coast and the north interior lowlands, the same areas covered by the high wind advisory.
The front is also expected to bring heavy precipitation that will spread to the north interior lowlands this afternoon or early evening.
