Follow-up: Eagles seen rebuilding in same tree on W Axton Road

Neighbors were saddened to discover wind and ice storms had brought down the tree limbs supporting a reportedly decades-old nest in a tree alongside W Axton Road between the Guide Meridian and Aldrich Road.

But those same neighbors are now reporting bald eagles, perhaps the same pair, have begun building a nest in the same tree.

Alyssa Springs shared these pictures and the video below which were taken today, Tuesday, showing two eagles in and around a new nest in the tree.
