SANDY POINT, Wash. — A flu shot clinic is scheduled for Saturday, October 2nd from 11am to 1pm at Whatcom County Fire District 17, located at 4332 Sucia Drive.
Hoagland Pharmacy will be at the fire station providing flu shots. According to Fire Chief Jim Petrie, this is an annual event hosted by WCFD17.
Flu shots are $35 and $60 for the high dose for those over 65-years-old, Petrie told Whatcom News. Insurance will be accepted.
Due to COVID-19 pandemic mandates and health concerns, Petrie says anyone interested in receiving a flu shot needs to park in the station’s parking lot. Paperwork will be brought out to complete and then people will be called inside one family at a time to receive their shot.
