US President Donald Trump today issued a proclamation ordering flags of the United States to be flown at half-staff at all Federal office buildings on Sunday, October 7th, in honor of the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service.
Trump also proclaimed October 7 through October 13 as Fire Prevention Week and called on all Americans to “participate in this observance with appropriate programs and activities and by renewing their efforts to prevent fires and their tragic consequences.”
Flags are to remain at half-staff until close of business or sunset Sunday.
