BELLINGHAM, Wash. — First responders were dispatched to the intersection of Westerly Road and Cordata Parkway due to reports of a large fight in progress about 8:30pm, Wednesday, August 10th.

Bellingham Police Department (BPD) Lieutenant Chad Cristelli told Whatcom News via email that BPD patrol officers responded, and witnesses told them that a group of at least 2 to 3 young men had been beating “the day lights out” of another male and had fled. Officers contacted the victim who had a swollen eye, abrasions, broken wrist and stab wounds.
Cristelli said the investigation is ongoing and they have several suspects.
CRIME IS OUT OF HAND!!!!! all the homeless camps and no accountability in Bellingham
I appreciate that people are doing local reporting here – but where was this? What are the names of the suspects? We really need more information to make informed decisions about this and how to react.
Why do you think homeless people are involved in the above?
