Fight outside Cordata business results in 1 with stab wounds

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — First responders were dispatched to the intersection of Westerly Road and Cordata Parkway due to reports of a large fight in progress about 8:30pm, Wednesday, August 10th.

Bellingham Police Department (BPD) Lieutenant Chad Cristelli told Whatcom News via email that BPD patrol officers responded, and witnesses told them that a group of at least 2 to 3 young men had been beating “the day lights out” of another male and had fled. Officers contacted the victim who had a swollen eye, abrasions, broken wrist and stab wounds.

Cristelli said the investigation is ongoing and they have several suspects.

    I appreciate that people are doing local reporting here – but where was this? What are the names of the suspects? We really need more information to make informed decisions about this and how to react.
