Today workers from Cowden Gravel & Ready Mix and Signs Plus were on-site in the FHS parking lot setting the post that will hold two new electronic displays dozens of feet above the road surface.
According to workers, the post would be set in a concrete block about five feet deep.
The sign is the result of the efforts of the Ferndale Golden Eagles Booster Club, the Ferndale School District and a donation from the Lummi Indian Business Council (LIBC).

According to an earlier press release from the booster club,
The high school will be equipped with the means to control the reader board messages so organizations within the school will be able to keep the community and student body informed of their activities. This also presents the opportunity to recognize sponsors, local businesses and organizations that support school activities.
