Sky High Pot Shop will open its doors at 6167 Portal Way for the first time tomorrow at 9am. This is the 2nd state-licensed retail cannabis (marijuana) store within Ferndale city limits. Ferndale currently only issues business licenses for up to 2 marijuana retailers.
When interviewed last December, owner Daman Chahil, who also operates Kent Smoke Shop in Kent, said he chose Ferndale after trying to find a viable location at other locations around the state. “The hardest part of the business is finding a location. There are so many location restrictions and every city has its own set of rules,” said Chahil.
Chahil is quoted in a press release, “We have hired a great local staff that is truly passionate about helping others learn about cannabis and the different ways of consumption.”
According to the press release, Sky High Pot Shop will offer an assortment of strains, concentrates, prerolls, vape pens, edibles and accessories. Hours will be 9am to 9pm Mondays through Saturdays and 9am to 8pm Sundays.
