Ferndale School District teachers met this afternoon to receive details about and vote on a new 2-year contract. According to Ferndale Education Association officials, the teachers’ union membership voted to approve the new contract with 98% voting in favor of approval.
The vote clears the way for classes for the 2018-19 school year to start Wednesday, September 5th. Details of the contract have not been released.
