Dr. Linda Quinn is reported to be one of three finalists for the position of superintendent of the Northshore School District in Bothell, Washington.
According to the Northshore School District, a public forum will be held with the three superintendent finalists Wednesday, June 15th. The three finalists include Ferndale School District Superintendent Dr. Linda Quinn.
Other finalists include the current superintendent of the South Kitsap School District and the executive director of Student Services for Prince George’s County Public Schools.
Quinn has been the superintendent of the Ferndale School District for seven years, having been hired after Superintendent Roger Lehnert passed away unexpectedly in 2009 at age 66.
The Northshore School District Board is expected to make a final decision at a special meeting on Thursday, June 16th.

The Northshore School District Board announced today they selected one of the other finalists, current superintendent of the South Kitsap School District Dr. Michelle Reid, for the position of superintendent.

Quinn was also one of three finalists in April of this year for the position of executive director of the Washington State School Directors’ Association according to a WSSDA news release. WSSDA announced in May the position was filled by one of the other finalists.
