The Ferndale Community Resource Center, located at 5694 2nd Avenue, announced today they will be open from 10am to 2pm tomorrow, Saturday, February 2nd.
Program Coordinator Terri Temple says they will have warm clothing, shoes, boots, socks, gloves, scarfs, as well as blankets, coverlets and a few sleeping bags. “With the weather dropping into the teens, we want everyone who needs them to have access to these items,” Temple said in an email to My Ferndale News.
Donations of warm clothing or bedding items will be happily accepted as well.
The Ferndale Community Resource Center is a hub for planning community activities, meetings, information gathering/dissemination and a small clothing bank.
