According to the owner, the Ferndale Quiznos, 1873 Main Street, Suite 2, will shut its doors for the last time Sunday, November 29th.

Quiznos Owner Travis Glass announced plans today, October 19th, to close the business he has run for a decade.
Glass has had the business for sale for the past several months but hadn’t been able work out a deal with a buyer.
When his landlord told him a neighboring business was ready to expand and would like his space it seemed like the right time to simply close the business.
Glass says he has been letting suppliers and other business owners know about his soon-to-be-unemployed employees. Said Glass, “They are great workers and I want to help them land on their feet.”
Glass said he is incredibly appreciative of the support he has received from the community during the years.
The close date was set in the future so people holding gift cards or participate in the store’s loyalty program will have adequate time to use their credits. According to Glass, “I could simply close today, but that would not be fair to them.”
Quiznos as a chain has suffered for the past several years and the number of franchisees has dropped from it’s peak of around 5,000 to barely 2,000 in 2014. The company filed bankruptcy last year in the hope of reorganizing back to health.
