This Friday, June 15th, marks the first day of the 11th season for the Ferndale Farmers Market (FFM).
Opening day celebrations and features include a flea market for vendors with products outside the norm for the market, the first monthly giveaway with a $30 market gift certificate prize, live music and an official market-opening cabbage toss.
The weather forecast looks great for opening day with a high of 67° expected with a light breeze and little chance of precipitation.
The market will be open Fridays from 3pm to 7pm around the fountain at the Centennial Riverwalk Park.

FFM is scheduled to be open every Friday through October 5th.
