Bellingham-based Excel Physical Therapy & Sports Rehabilitation recently opened a new location in the Ferndale Station retail center and next week the public is invited to their open house event.
According to Excel physical therapist Lisa Obergottsberger, the new Ferndale location is strategically located to serve many clients who had been making the drive to Bellingham and to better serve student athletes from Ferndale, Blaine and Lummi.
Physical therapy, explained Obergottsberger, provides the means after an injury or surgery, or simply after aches or pains are detected, to restore flexibility and strength.
Obergottsberger pointed out being located adjacent to Locker Room Fitness is no coincidence. Excel and Locker Room will be working together to serve Locker Room customers and also provide clinics for student athletes on topics such as preseason preparation and injury prevention.
Next week’s open house is planned for Thursday, February 25th from 4pm to 6pm at the Ferndale location, 1863 Main Street, Suite 101. Food, beverages and facility tours will be provided.
