WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — Puget Sound Energy (PSE) reported 2 power outages in areas of eastern Whatcom County this afternoon, June 26th, that impact over 4,000 PSE customer addresses.
Both outages were reported to have begun 4:23pm today. As of 4:35pm, the western-most outage was blamed on equipment failure according to PSE. The eastern-most outage remained under investigation.
As of 4:35pm, the estimate to restore power over both outages was 6:30pm according to PSE.
The outages occurred during record high temperatures in the area.
