FERNDALE, Wash. — Whatcom County Fire District 7 (WCFD7) personnel were dispatched to a report of a outside building fire in the 6400 block of Portal Commons Way this morning, December 14th, about 7:50am.
Firefighters with the first engine to arrive reported heavy smoke and flames could be seen coming from a small unattached building behind a house.
According to WCFD7 Division Chief Ben Boyko, no one was injured and the cause of the fire was not known.
