BELLINGHAM, Wash. — First responders were dispatched about 12:50pm on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, to the 4100 block of Hannegan Road due to reports of a dump truck having crashed into several vehicles in a parking lot.
Bellingham Police Department Lieutenant Claudia Murphy told Whatcom News officers arrive to learn the truck driver suffered a medical emergency, the truck left the roadway and entered the parking lot. It collided with 10 parked vehicles, all unoccupied.
No injuries were reported. It was determined that neither speed nor alcohol were involved in the crash.
The driver received an infraction for failure to maintain control of the truck.
