Craig and Tara Burling both have had jobs that have put them in harsh work environments and they have developed an appreciation for personal safety gear. So much so, they are getting ready to open a store on 2nd Avenue that will be selling safety gear for people who work in harsh environments.
Sign Post workers hoisted the exterior sign today for Tay’s Safety Supply located on 2nd Avenue just north of Main Street in what was formerly the 2nd Avenue Sports location.
Craig said their store inventory will include safety glasses, hard hats, ear protection, fire retardant clothing and lots of coveralls.
They hope to open their doors on Friday, August 23rd, during the Ferndale Street Festival and will have live product demonstrations in the street in front of their store.
