UPDATED: Dates, times for Ferndale student orientations & registrations

The Ferndale School District has released the schedule of orientations and registrations for the 2016-17 school year. They are as follows.

Elementary Schools

• Skyline
  • Cookies and Classrooms, September 6th, 5pm to 6pm
  • Welcome Back Breakfast for new parents, September 12th, 9:30am
• Eagleridge
  • Meet the Teacher Social, September 6th, 5pm to 6pm
  • Welcome Back Assembly, September 7th, 10:15am
• Cascadia
  • Open House, September 6th, 5pm to 6pm
• Custer
  • Back to School Ice Cream Social, September 6th, 4pm to 5pm
• Central
  • Meet the Teacher Ice Cream Social, September 6th, 5:30pm to 6:30pm

Middle Schools

• Vista
  • (NOTE: New time) Grade 6 and new student orientation, August 31st, 5pm to 7pm 6:30pm to 8pm
• Horizon
  • Grade 6 and new student orientation, August 31st, 5pm to 7pm

High Schools

• Ferndale
  • Band camp, August 29th to 30th
  • Band retreat, August 31st to September 2nd
  • Upper classmen registration, August 30th, 8am to 1pm
  • Counseling office open, August 30th, 9am to 1pm and August 31st, 7:15am to 3pm
  • Freshman orientation, August 31st, 9:30am to 12pm
  • New student registration, September 1st, 8am to 3pm
• Windward
  • All student registration, August 29th, 9am to 1pm

Class lists

Elementary schools will post class lists on each school’s front door September 6th.

Middle and high school students’ schedules are available via the Skyward student information system.

NOTE: The District office clarified “secondary student schedules will be available online through Skyward beginning Thursday, September 1. During the orientations being held this week, students will also receive a copy of their schedules.”
