Crash temporarily closes both southbound lanes of I-5 in Custer

CUSTER, Wash. — First responders Were dispatched to the southbound lanes of I-5 near the Grandview Road interchange about 7:40am today, October 19th, due to reports of a crash.

By 8am, Washington State Department of Transportation camera at the scene showed traffic getting past the scene via the right lane.

Washington State Patrol Trooper Kelsey Harding told Whatcom News a vehicle had collided with a deer and up to 3 vehicles may have collided with no injuries to the occupants.
