The City of Ferndale announced this morning the emergency weight restrictions that went into effect a week ago have been lifted effective immediately.
Crews were out removing the signs first thing this morning according to City staff.
Whatcom County lifted restrictions on county roads yesterday.
Two roads in Ferndale, Douglas Road and Ferndale Terrace, were closed due to extensive road damage. City staff said these roads are expected to remain closed until repairs to the road surface can be made.
