A motorcycle versus car accident at Main Street and Haggen Way backed up Main Street traffic in both directions just before 5pm today. Devices on the first responder vehicles caused the traffic signal at the intersection to stop cycling resulting in a red light in all directions for some time before a Ferndale police officer began directing traffic. The backup cleared quickly after.
A motorcycle appeared to have struck a van broadside on the van’s passenger side. No details were available at the time of this post.
