A group formed to promote the Ferndale School District bond proposition on the recent General Election ballot has scheduled a town hall meeting at the Pioneer Pavilion Community Center on Thursday, November 15th.
As of the last ballot count on November 9th, Proposition 2018-7 to approve general obligation bonds of $112 million had 58.51% of the votes in approval. It required more than 60% (a super majority) approval to pass. The Whatcom County Elections Division reported only 34 ballots were left to count countywide.
Support Ferndale Schools announced over the weekend that the community is encouraged to attend the meeting which will be held between 7pm and 8:30pm.

Come down with all your questions, comments, ideas, enthusiasm, and concerns. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. We are planning to have District Administrators onsite as well as Support Ferndale Schools team members, including Joe Lupo and Wendy Lawrence, to answer questions and address some of the comments we have seen recently on social media.
