The constant rain has resulted in a lot of surface water flooding streets. Initial reports have dangerous water levels on Portal Way between Brown and Grandview (updated 11:00am 1/5/15) and Smith Road east of Northwest Avenue. Expect water over the roadways at the usual places by morning and plan your commute and errands around them. The Nooksack River level is low and river flooding is not currently expected based on current weather models. This means Slater and other roads near the river should remain unaffected except by surface water flooding. Monitor the City-provided real-time impact map for additional information.
