BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Bellingham Police Department announced Sunday, July 30th, they are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing man.
UPDATE 6:15am- Bellingham Police report he has been found and is safe.
Steven ‘Steve’ Walbrek, a 69-year-old white male walked away from a memory care center early Saturday evening.
He is a prolific walker and has been diagnosed with early onset dementia. He is not familiar with Bellingham.
Walbrek is described as 5-foot 10-inches tall, weighing 180 pounds with brown/graying hair. He was last seen wearing dark sweats and a dark sweatshirt with rainbow or tie dyed crock shoes.
Anyone with information about Walbrek’s location is asked to call 911.
