Bellingham entrepreneur opens 2 new businesses in Fairhaven

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Poodle Creek Grooming and Poodle Creek Sharpening will be hosting an open house from 4pm to 6pm on Wednesday, April 20th at their location on the northwest corner of the intersection of 12th Street and Old Fairhaven Parkway.

Donna Moorman-Wright recently opened the 2 businesses after more than 20 years in the pet care industry where she has been a grooming salon owner, dog trainer, consultant and pet shampoo manufacturer according to a recent press release. She also has 6 years of experience in the sharpening industry as a sharpener, trainer and workshop host.

Poodle Creek Grooming provides grooming services for all breeds including coat maintenance for poodles and hand stripping for miniature schnauzers.

Poodle Creek Sharpening leverages of Moorman-Wright’s advanced sharpening training and certifications from the National Beauty Tool Sharpeners Guild and the International Beauty Sharpeners Association.
