A middle schooler who brought a BB gun to Horizon Middle School today learned just how little tolerance schools have for guns on campus.
The Ferndale School District released the following about a situation which occurred this morning at Horizon Middle School.
A Horizon Middle School student brought a BB gun into the school building. Other Horizon students saw the gun and reported it to the administration, who acted swiftly to locate the student and secure the gun. No one was hurt. Law enforcement officials, in cooperation with school and district administration, are conducting an investigation.
