As the river level drops, Ferndale rescinds evacuation order

FERNDALE, Wash. — Officials with the City of Ferndale have rescinded an evacuation advisory for businesses and residences south of Main Street between 4th Avenue and the Nooksack River due to lessening flooding concerns.

City crews were out this morning removing road closure signs in the evacuation zone.
