Arrested on suspicion of multiple burglaries and thefts since Jan., Bellingham man held on $250,000 bail

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — It was reported February 3rd that Craig Alan Holleman, age 54, had been booked and released from the Whatcom County Jail on February 1st suspected of several crimes. At the time of this arrest, Holleman had 3 outstanding arrest warrants for failing to appear in court on previous burglary and theft charges.

Since that arrest, Holleman has been suspected of additional burglary and theft crimes.

According to the Bellingham Police Department (BPD) press summary log, BPD officers noted the following subsequent incidents were attributed to Holleman.

  • issued a summons to appear in court for vehicle prowl and theft on February 4th
  • issued a summons for burglary and theft on February 13th
  • BPD completed a probable cause statement for arrest on March 2nd
  • arrested in the 200 block of E Chestnut Street on March 5th

Holleman currently faces multiple felony burglary and theft charges across 8 Superior Court cases.

According to Whatcom County Jail and Whatcom County Superior Court records, Holleman remained in custody as of March 23rd pending being able to post a $250,000 bond.
