Discover Ferndale was not able to provide the coverage it should have for hours during today’s windstorm due to unforeseen technical difficulties that occurred while boosting server capacity to handle a sudden and record number of website visitors.

The good news, after some $$s spent and very sternly worded emails later, the website is now equipped to handle today’s reader traffic and a lot more since it keeps growing.
Hopefully you will stick with Discover Ferndale. There is a lot planned to make DiscoverFerndale.com more valuable to those who live, work and visit our wonderful community. This is currently a one-person operation overseeing the server management, programming, writing, graphics, advertising sales, taking out the garbage, etc. Imagine what can be done once the hiring starts.
