A seat belt enforcement patrol is happening from 4pm to 8pm, Thursday, May 21, on Main Street by the railroad overpass. Ferndale Police have set up a check point on the east end of the Main Street Bridge to stop and contact drivers when they and their passengers are not wearing seat belts and other visible infractions.
There have been similar emphasis patrols in the area before and more are likely to follow.
