A community candlelight vigil is scheduled for 9pm on Saturday, June 13th, at the Centennial Riverwalk Park in memory and support of the families and victims of Wednesday’s tragic events. In case you were on the fence about attending, someone who has suffered a similar personal loss puts a real perspective on it.
5-1/2 years ago this community came together and supported our family through the death of our son Spc Aaron Aamot. You will never know how much that meant to my husband and me. I ask everyone to come to the Centennial Riverwalk Park and support the Ormistons, Andersons and the families of the two boys who were injured. It might seem like a little thing to do, but it truly helps!
