Crews will be doing work on Washington Street from 8:30am to 4pm tomorrow, Friday, February 19th. This work will require again reducing traffic in the area to one lane with flaggers directing alternating traffic flow.
The area impacted will be between 3rd Avenue and Golden Eagle Drive. Unlike recent construction in the area by a private contractor, this time it will be city work crews preparing for a project that will add new curbs, gutters, sidewalks and other pedestrian safety improvements among other improvements and upgrades along Washington between 3rd Avenue and Vista Drive.
